LOS ANGELES, CA – Creeple Peeple, the popular three-issue graphic novel miniseries created by Patrick D. Pidgeon, is now available in Trade Paperback and will be featured at San Diego Comic-Con July 9-12 at the IDW Publishing booth, along with free posters. IDW has expanded this teen comic-fantasy paperback to 100 pages, featuring additional artwork.
Desperate to bring publicity to their college’s defunded department, Spigs, T-Ray and Peabo, misfits but gifted science majors, hastily hatch an outlandish lab experiment by substituting their mysterious DNA concoction for ink in the school’s 3-D bio-printer to regenerate human tissue. But their bizarre scheme inadvertently creates six mystical creepy troll creatures unleashing calamitous chaos on campus.
But just as frightening, our teen heroes uncover a devious and sinister plan behind the defunding, which is tied to the revival of the school’s ominous past and linked to an infamous fallen angel. Time is not on the side of this motley science team of teens and their professor in their frantic quest to rein in their six menacing medical mutants and save themselves and the students from an evil secret society, its diabolical leader and mystical beings out to destroy them all.
The Graphic Novel
Creeple Peeple’s genre mashup of sci-fi and comic fantasy is wildly imaginative, featuring elements of Gremlins, Transformers, Night at the Museum and Dungeons & Dragons.
It’s simply… mass mutation gone wild!
